One day I too will be dribbbling. dribbble I was referring too. Until then I will simply browse it as an outsider. Upon my latest gander into dribble land I cam across the second teased image for Wunderlist on Windows Phone. It was the original image posted by the same designer that helped me design my concept for the Wunderlist App for Windows 8. Continue Reading →

Wunderlist for Windows 8
After using Windows 8 for a few days, I imagined how the apps that I use would translate to the new metro design. I have embarked on a Windows 8 concept app mission. This mission which I chose to accept, is to conceptualise popular apps exist on other platforms or exist in desktop form only. This mission/idea will self destruct if I you don’t note it down.
I noted it down and immediately started on a concept. The following concept is unfinished, I have yet to make the icons for example, for now they are plus signs. I present to you my Wunderlist Windows 8 app. For those that are unaware, Wunderlist is a freeware application from 6Wunderkinder that can be used for task management and list making. Tasks are categorized into lists, such as a shopping list or a to-do list. Tasks can have completion dates and remiders[sic] (wikipedia). Continue Reading →

New Nokia Lumia’s
This morning (27th feb), I woke up and set my laptop up with my TV. Nokia were scheduled to broadcast live their Mobile World Conference (MWC) presentation. Thanks to Liveside.net I went to sleep looking forward to waking up to the broadcast. So I switched it on 30mins ahead of time, a static image with some text on screen stared back at me blankly. Fast forward in time a little bit, with cereal and milk in bowl and a glass of water by my side the screen changed to what looked like happy faces in a pile of other happy moment in time polaroid images, I was getting excited. Soon Elop took the stage, I felt my self only listening to the words “lumia” I wasn’t really interested in Asher if thats how you spell it, nothing against it, I have just fallen in love with the lumia brand and its design. I must add that I have fallen in love with the song that Nokia have used called Garden by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
What did Nokia announce at their presentation? That the Nokia Lumia 900 Continue Reading →
Blog refocus
Ok, first of all I need to admit that I have been away from my blog and I have realised I have really neglected it. I have spent more time on Pinterest, my Greenwich Rising project, on twitter and coding up a friends website. The time has come for a small spring cleaning, a refocus of this blog and also small aesthetic changes. Some might say I like Microsofts metro design way to much, well when they see what I have in store for my, and again I must stress “small aesthetic changes”, they will still be saying I love Metro too much.
First and foremost is the structure and my use of the “more” tag you would undoubtably be aware of if you blog yourself. It is the tag that you insert into the body of your blog post that cuts of the first part of your article away from the whole article so that to read the rest of the article you simple select, read more. It means that your blog appears more tidy, loads less items and more articles can be seen on the homepage. Right now my blog is simply a long text filled page. Talking of “more” tags I am going to put one at the end of this sentence so please do carry on reading. Continue Reading →
